1 - Al-Fayha Commences the Milestone Target of Casting the first Piles of the IOT Project
Our Company has commenced the casting of the first piles for the IOT-WQ1 Project, after it has successfully conducted a high level performance of Technical requirement compliance, and based on this achievement, it has started the casting of the first piles portion jointly approved by ENKA and EXXON MOBIL inspectors.
Projects Director of the Turkish company ENKA said; “today 29th Dec. 2016 is achievement of an important milestone for the IOT Project and added that there is an idiom in Turkish “to start means you already finish 50%”.
ENKA Projects Director further stated that going forward; “we expect the same commitment and efforts to be continued and maintained by Al-Fayha for the manufacturing and driving of the piles” and that, Safety and Quality should be both parties priority for achieving our targets.

1 - AL-FAYHA signs Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Construction the Foundations of the biggest Commercial Mall in Basra Region, named “BASRA MALL” Project
Al-Fayha Contributes to the Country’s Infrastructural Development.
And it has recently signed Memorandum of Understanding with an Iraqi Investor for the construction of the Biggest Luxurious Commercial Mall in Basra at Al-Khoura District, Basra-Iraq.
The Event was hosted by the Governor of Basra Region, his Excellency Dr. Majed Al-Nasrawi. The Memorandum was counterparty signed by four Companies, Al-Fayha Precast Co., along with other three foreign companies, each for its specialized field of construction A final Contract will be signed soon by each of these companies in accordance with the International mechanism of Terms & Conditions of the Projects Contract.
Al-Khoura Company for Tourism & Investment who is the investor of Basra Mall Project.

THE MALL DESIGN Structure consist of Five Storey building, which share One Central Open View Roof to the Sky,
covered with high quality Glass Roof that can be seen through the outside environment light, while in the same time, it protects the inside climate of the Mall.
The First Floor of the Mall consist of an open area which is the Central Point of all other floors and the main ground space for all Entry and Exit gates of the Mall, which is open to the Sky view covered with Glass Roof. THE FIRST FLOOR DESIGN Structure Consists: Ski and Snowboard Hall for entertainment that holds 60-75 persons
at a time, the Skiing Hall is out-looked by all other surrounded floors from the top.
Furthermore, the availability of other recreational activities Halls and luxurious places, such as cafeterias, ice cream shops, restaurants, Occasions Celebration Hall, etc.The Mall building is accompanied by a parking area building that consists of eight floors, well designed for parking purpose which has well designed Entrance and Exit gates.

1 - AL-Fayha Extends Training Courses to its Staff for ISO 9001:2015 Upgraded Certification
Following the celebratory event for Al-Fayha’s success in obtaining the ISO Certifications awards, Al-Fayha further extends more training to its staff in order to obtain the newly Updated and Internationally applied ISO Certifications of 9001;2015.
The training session which was conducted by ISO Agency Representative at Al-Fayha Premises Training Center and took place on 22nd March 2016 until 24th March 2016. This training included awareness of the differences and additions to the Quality ISO 9001:2008, which was improved and updated and is now Quality ISO 9001:2015. In the meantime, it also provides a basic knowledge of how to conduct an Internal Auditing. This improvement aims to develop and enhance the Quality Management System that upgrades the Company performance in accordance to the more intense International Standard levels.
This is a continuous improvement to our Management System which paves the way for Al-Fayha to continue to develop and improve the quality of services and performance that will satisfy International Investors and Companies.

1 - AL-Fayha Precast celebrates for ISO Certificates Awarding
AL-Fayha Precast Company celebrates the New Year by obtaining highly acclaimed international ISO Certifications announced at a high profile event at the Manawi Basha Hotel on January 14th 2016.
The awarded International ISO Certifications included; “Quality, ISO 9001-2008, Safety ISO OHSAS 18001:2007 and Environment ISO 14001:2004.
Mr. Zeyad Tariq Al-Darraji, Managing Director of Al-Fayha gave an encouraging speech at the gathering, which was attended by several dignitaries from various International Companies. Mr. Al-Darraji highlighted the importance of these certifications, which means the Al-Fayha has steadily improved operations and continues to increase productivity and output.
The Managing Director also ensured the international certifications will increase foreign interest and investment opportunities from international companies, further securing the future of Al-Fayha precast.

3 - Al-Fayha Wins Concrete Supply Contract at DS8, WQ-1
Al-Fayha recently signed a contract with a local company to provide supply of RMC “Ready Mixed Concrete” of various concrete grades for the Project titled, “Oil Storage Tanks Foundation at DS8, WQ-1. Main contractor is CPECC and the client is Exxon Mobil.

4 - Al-Fayha Wins Contract to Supply RMC for Gas Pipelines Project
The company was also recently contracted to supply the Iranian Co., with RMC in various locations within Basra; such as South Rumaila, Shuaba and Nadhim St. The Project Scope is “Extension of Gas Pipelines from Abadan-Iran to Basra-Iraq.”
